Kauai Day 6

Even when you're in paradise, you're going to have an "off" day. Today was mine. Slept very poorly (even on the comfy couch) and had lots of leg pain (left knee/leg has been misbehaving all week and I am not sure why) and woke up with a killer headache. Swam with the kids after breakfast and then fell asleep in the deck chair for awhile. Peter, Kelly, Chantelle, Michae, Nola, James, Kathleen and Joshua went kayaking up the Wailua River and then hiked to the secret waterfall. Michael got a rescue phone call a little while later to please come and pick Peter and Kelly up as they had had a capsizing incident and were giving up :( So Mike and I went to rescue them. Stopped for a few groceries so Kelly could make Chantelle's birthday cake for tonight. Once home, I played Life on the Ipad with Andrew while Mom, Traci, Taylor and Nathan went for a walk. Once everyone got back, I went to bed to lie down as I was having trouble keeping my eyes open. Slept until dinner time, woke up in time for Chantelle's birthday dinner (steak and potatoes) and birthday cake. Am ready to head back to bed. Hoping for a better sleep and a better day tomorrow....which will probably only be church (especially since mom is here now). LOL.
